The economic ties between the Netherlands and Hungary are dynamic. The Netherlands is in the top 15 investors, with more than 500 Dutch companies operating in Hungary, employing over 20.000 staff. As our countries are facing similar socio-economic challenges, like growing cities, pollution, CO2 emissions and climate change, the Netherlands closely cooperates with Hungarian stakeholders in these areas. This creates the opportunity to learn from each other’s solutions by exchanging best practices.
The Netherlands Embassy’s Economic Section is facilitating bilateral trade relations by informing and advising Dutch companies on doing business in Hungary and connecting them to potential business partners.
